The period of use (expiry date) is vital for a clinical trial and is strictly linked to the storage
conditions. If the expiry date extension is allowed due to the data from ongoing stability studies,
additional labelling is applied to state the new expiry. The re labelling must be done according to
GMP and under responsibility of the QP, ensuring additional label states the batch number and is
fixed without hiding the original batch number. At QCS we work with you to ensure that the IMP
batch stored within depot and at sites is fully updated with new expiry without causing any delays
